Levaquin is an oral drug used to treat bacterial infections in the body, such as sinuses, skin, lung and kidney infections, as well as infections of bone, joint and urinary tract (prostatitis). Levaquin can be used in other cases, when prescribed to you by a health-care provider.

How Taken
Follow strictly your doctor’s prescriptions while using this drug. Take the pill with a glass of water; do not interfere with food (take in 1 hour before and 2 hours after the meal). Don’t chew or crush before swallowing, swallow the whole pill. You will benefit most from the regular use of the drug. Take it at the same time each day. Don’t stop before you take the whole course, even if you feel better. Read the leaflet attached to the drug for possible side effects and drug interactions. Drink more liquid, while using the drug (about 2 liters per day).
